Create or log in to your EXPRESS BILL PAY account to set up or manage your auto pay by credit card or bank EFT. - the best way to pay and to get email reminders and updates on your account. Or mail us a check to Cottonwood Water & Sanitation, 188 Inverness Drive West, Suite 150, Englewood CO 80112. Please put your account number on your check.
Monthly Base Water Rate: Like all water providers, we have ongoing costs to operate water services, even if no one turns on their water. These costs are billed monthly and go towards covering the costs of meter reading, daily operational costs, billing, repairs, customer service, and maintenance.
WATER FEES and ALLOCATIONS
Allocations are based on the number of residents in a home, the time of year and lot size in order to provide reasonable amounts of water at the lowest tier rate. Please contact the District to make sure we have the correct number of household members for allocation purposes.
The water base fee increases with tap size for commercial, multi-family and irrigation taps.
SEWER FEES
In addition to a base sewer fee of $15.30/month, all customers pay a monthly usage charge at $8.84 per thousand gallons determined from an average of the previous winter water consumption records (Dec, Jan, Feb & Mar). The purpose of this calculation is to identify indoor use averages that can be applied year round especially during the summer when watering is occurring. Irrigation water does not go down the drain should not be included in a sewer use charge. This average is recalculated each March to be used for the next 12 months. All commercial customers, including apartments and condominiums, pay monthly the Base Rate associated with the installed tap size plus $8.84 per thousand gallons used.

LATE FEES
Past due account balances will be assessed a 3% late fee to cover the administrative costs of late notices and managing failed payments.
DISCONNECT POLICY
If your account has a balance 30 days past due, it is considered delinquent and is subject to shut off. You will continue to receive a monthly bill showing current charges. Past due balances are due immediately. If water has been turned off, an involuntary disconnect fee of $50 will be added to the account and is due along with the full balance due in order to reconnect service. If payment is received in our office after 2:30 pm, re-connection will occur the following day.
